Tonya Simmons has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has been employed with Vanderbilt University since 1993. Prior to working at Vanderbilt, she served as a Research Assistant conducting gerontological research for the Borun Center at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then served as Project Manager on both the Ft. Bragg Longitudinal Evaluation and on the Enhancing AD/HD Rx Effectiveness in Pediatrics and Schools project at the Center for Evaluation and Program Improvement at Vanderbilt. She was Assistant Director of the Office of Research Enhancement at Peabody College for several years and she currently serves as the Administrative Officer for the Peabody Research Institute.
