Amanda Van Doorn

Amanda Van Doorn, Director for the Peabody College Office of Teacher Licensure, has worked at Vanderbilt University for sixteen years. Amanda’s work with the office includes advising students in the education programs at Peabody College to ensure they are on track to receive licensure at the end of their programs, partnering with districts to ensure collaboration in preparation of our candidates, serving as the Compliance Officer for state and federal rules regarding teacher preparation, and collecting data for reporting to ensure Peabody maintains its accreditation status.

Amanda received her M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Northern Iowa.
