Lydia (she/her) is a second year Higher Education Administration student. Lydia hails from the Carolinas and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Winthrop University. While in undergrad, she participated in the McNair Scholars program, tutoring, and interning as a peer academic coach. Before coming to grad school, she worked as an Academic Coach in a TRIO Student Support Services program, assisting students from diverse backgrounds in their pursuit of a college degree. Lydia is interested in academic success and advising, specifically with students from underserved populations and communities, and would love to work for a TRIO program in the future.
