Athri Ranganathan

Athri is a Master in Public Policy program degree candidate. He grew up in Wilson, North Carolina and is close to his family. He is a proud alumnus of Amherst College, in Massachusetts, where he worked for one year as a logistics coordinator at the Center for Restorative Practices. Athri’s career journey has been nonlinear, and he has journeyed across the country from being a student of Sociology, to being a housing justice advocate, to teaching in a rural part of Czechia to teaching in his hometown. Athri believes that everyone has the potential to succeed. He enjoys connecting with people across cultures and reading poetry from around the world. He especially enjoys finding a topic to laugh about with friends.
