Caitlin first joined Peabody College in October 2018 as the Department of Special Education’s inaugural Administrative Manager. In January 2020, she transitioned to Vanderbilt’s College of Arts and Science as the Department Administrator in Mathematics. In February 2021, she left Vanderbilt to work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she spent the next two and a half years working while obtaining her MBA from Fitchburg State University. In October 2023, Caitlin assumed the role of Administrative Officer for the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations.

Caitlin is responsible for overseeing the department’s financial, operational, and personnel management. Key duties include managing budgets, grants, and payroll for over 200 faculty, staff, and students. Caitlin serves as the Financial Unit Manager (FUM), reviewing purchases, expense reports, and contracts while ensuring compliance with university policies. Additionally, Caitlin provides leadership in personnel matters such as hiring, onboarding, and payroll, and supervises administrative staff, maintaining the overall business operations of the department.
