Cassandra Hall

Class of 2020

Cassandra is entering her second year of the Master in Special Education program in Severe Disabilities. She is from Apple Valley, California, and plans to return there following graduation to create and facilitate effective transition programs for individuals with disabilities in her community. Her favorite part about Next Steps at Vanderbilt is working alongside the students in courses, internships, and activities, data collection, and academics. She has been instrumental in securing Vanderbilt courses for students enrolled through Next Steps, helping students navigate through their academic program of studies, and ensuring Next Steps is data-driven in all that we do.

“Cassie is my ‘right-hand woman’ in the area of academics, and I honestly do not know what I would do without her. She is compassionate, dedicated to helping others, and driven. Cassie will do amazing things in anything she pursues!”

– Dr. Lauren Bethune-Dix, Next Steps at Vanderbilt Assistant Director and Academic Development Director
