Chris J. Garner

Christopher Garner, Ed.D. is the Academic Services Support Coordinator for the LLO program here at Peabody College. He is originally from Oak Park, IL (a Suburb outside of Chicago) and received his B.S. degree in Speech and Theatre Communication from Tennessee State University. Chris later received his M.B.A. from Bethel University and then Ed.D. in Professional Practice and Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Chris has more than eight years of Student Success experience working with adult learners, five of which were with doctoral-level students. As the Academic Services Support Coordinator, his duties include providing academic coaching and success support for all students, collaborating with current Student Success Advisors, and working with faculty and staff to address student needs.
