Clemente Garcia

Clemente is a Houston-native and second-year student in the International Education Policy and Management program. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin, Clemente began his teaching career in Taiwan. Since then, he’s taught high school and vocational college in the Netherlands under a Fulbright Award and most recently was an ESL teacher in Houston. Clemente is passionate about the power of international exchange, and he’s working towards having a lasting impact on the development of academic exchange programs. For fun, he enjoys hiking and is an avid cyclist.
