Kelley Hayes graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1996 with a master’s degree in education specializing in special education. Kelley has a wide variety of teaching experience working with students in grades K-5 who learn differently. She has completed training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach from Riverside School in Richmond, Va., and Greengate School in Huntsville, Ala. For the past nine years, Kelley has worked for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools as an academic specialist. She is a passionate educator and advocate for her students. Kelley moved to Franklin from Charlottesville, VA. in 2012 with her husband and 3 daughters. She is an animal lover and has 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 birds. In her free time, Kelley enjoys reading and loves shopping for bargains.
