Kym Stricklin

Kym Stricklin joined Peabody College’s Department of Leadership, Policy and Organization as the department Post Award Grant Manager in November 2021. She has 20+ years of experience in higher education, specializing in research administration, procurement, and contract management. Her career is distinguished by a commitment to fostering strong relationships, providing exceptional support, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Kym is responsible for managing the financial and compliance aspects of grants and contracts. This includes working closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) and ensuring all projects adhere to federal and non-federal guidelines. Kym tracks budgets, assists in proposal development, and provides administrative and technical support for externally funded research projects. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Peabody Research Office and offering backup support for the department’s Administrative Officer.
