Rogers holds a master of science in counseling psychology and a bachelor of science in psychology from Tennessee State University. She began her financial aid career in 2006 at Belmont University, ultimately advancing to become assistant director of financial aid there. In 2015, she joined Vanderbilt as assistant director of student financial aid.
