Class of 2020

Sean is a Graduate Assistant with Next Steps and is pursuing a Master in Special Education. He is originally from Maine but has traveled and worked as a teacher in Guatemala and Mexico. Sean plans and organizes campus life activities for Ambassadores and students enrolled in Next Steps, and he also teaches Career and Community Studies (CCS) courses. “College is challenging for all students, and learning ways to manage that stress is an invaluable life skill. Sean’s leadership in revamping the sophomore CCS Emotional Regulation curriculum and instruction empowered the students to directly apply what they were learning in their day to day lives; some even taught a mindfulness skill to their classmates at the end of the semester.” –John Cayton, Director of Campus Life and Student Supports
