Waqas Haider

Waqas is a student in the International Education Policy and Management Program as a Fulbright Scholar from Multan, Pakistan. He earned his undergraduate degree in Management Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences. As a first-generation college student, Waqas is passionate about students’ growth and development of interpersonal and professional skills. Waqas gained experience in career coaching in his role at Teach for Pakistan, Stanford-funded Amal Academy, and his own nonprofit, Chiraagh. After graduation, Waqas envisions working as an education policymaker to increase access to education for underprivileged communities.
