About

Peabody-Asia Consortium for Education (PACE)
A Catalyst for Global Educational Progress

Asia is where globalization's successes and challenges converge, offering valuable lessons for the rest of the world. The region showcases remarkable achievements in building knowledge economies through strategic investment in human capital, yet millions still face barriers to quality education. By learning from Asia's successes and addressing its challenges, we can share and enhance our collective knowledge to drive global progress.

PACE advocates the Improvement Science approach as a core methodology for contextualization, adaptation, and scaling of promising models and tools. This approach engages key stakeholders early and often, focuses on the system, considers variation and context, develops practical measures, and validates incremental improvement by conducting collaborative inquiry cycles.

Through webinars, in-person seminars, and joint research projects, PACE aims to share expertise, fostering innovation, and facilitate collaboration with two key priorities:

  • Bridging: PACE builds connections between regional and international perspectives, enabling cross-cultural knowledge exchange in education and human development. This ensures the creation of globally relevant and practical insights.
  • Spreading: PACE disseminates scalable, contextually adapted innovations drawn from research-practice partnerships, professional development programs, and advocacy for evidence-based improvement efforts.
