The administrative offices at Peabody offer resources for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and employers. Our offices' specific expertise covers a wide range of areas that work to support the Peabody community.

Office of Academics Affairs and Services

Academic Affairs and Services leads and oversees the Peabody curriculum, academic planning and accreditation, and develops and implements academic policies and procedures.

Office of Communications

The Office of Communications provides strategic advice and service for leadership communications; graduate and professional student recruitment; marketing efforts; dissemination of research findings and research project activity; faculty, student, alumni and staff news; faculty and staff awards nominations; and signature events.

Office of Development and Alumni Relations

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations seeks to partner with our extended community to achieve Peabody College’s most immediate goals and needs—student scholarships, internships, endowed chairs, library resources, technology support, and more.

Office of Digital Learning

Peabody’s Office of Digital Learning (PDL) supports Peabody's digital and online programs, leads the development and launch of new digital programs, and provides oversight to ensure successful implementation of programs that advance the college’s mission and priorities.

Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions

The Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions supports students applying for all programs at Peabody, from undergraduate to Ph.D. applicants. 

Office of Student Life

The Peabody Office of Student Life promotes engagement and holistic well-being for students through community building and co-curricular programming while supplying support and resources for students.

Office of Teacher Licensure

Peabody's Office of Teacher Licensure coordinates teacher licensure policies and procedures for teacher education programs and collects and maintains necessary documents for students seeking initial licensure or added endorsement.

Peabody Career Services

Peabody Career Services works with students, employers, and alumni to offer resources, programming, and group or individual sessions to effectively launch careers and advance professional networks.

Peabody Research Office

The Peabody Research Office (PRO) provides research support to faculty and research staff at Peabody College. Their services include: guiding faculty through the grant development and submission process, building collaborations among faculty who have shared interests, managing internal grant competitions for Peabody faculty, and more.

Background Clearance Office

Faculty, staff, students, and all others who are enrolled in various classes, labs, or work settings at Peabody College are required to undergo a criminal background check. The Background Clearance Office assists with completing background clearance per Tennessee law, and can answer all questions associated with the process.
