The mission of the Peabody Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is to co-create an equitable and inclusive culture to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff feel welcomed, supported, and part of the Peabody community.
We do this by providing educational programming and resources related to EDI, expanding opportunities for underserved populations, and celebrating the diverse voices and experiences in the Peabody community - so that all individuals can thrive.

The Peabody Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Student Leadership Award is awarded annually to a Peabody undergraduate student, a professional student, a graduate student, and/or a student organization in recognition of demonstrated leadership in improving the culture of Peabody through efforts in the area(s) of equity, diversity, and inclusion. The award is given by the Peabody Faculty Council. Nominations are made by Peabody students, faculty and staff members. This award will be presented at the annual Peabody College Commencement Awards Ceremony on the Thursday before Commencement.
