Peabody Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
The mission of the Peabody Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is to co-create an equitable and inclusive culture to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff feel welcomed, supported, and part of the Peabody community.
We do this by providing educational programming and resources related to EDI, expanding opportunities for underserved populations, and celebrating the diverse voices and experiences in the Peabody community - so that all individuals can thrive.
EDI conversations, events, and programs like the Dean's Diversity Lecture Series and Faculty Face Time Fridays celebrate our core values. The Black Cultural Center, International Student & Scholar Services, and Office of LGBTQI Life are just a few of the campus partners we work with to offer members of the Peabody community opportunities to explore their individual and collective identities. Additionally, we work to support students, faculty, and staff with accessibility or accommodation needs; provide guidance for discrimination and Title IX reporting; and are available for consultation on EDI issues as needed.
