Emily Barrett is a doctoral student in the Community Research and Action (CRA) Program at Vanderbilt University. Intersecting geography, urban planning, and participatory mapping, Emily’s research broadly examines the opportunities and challenges of using data-driven narratives within politically contentious discussions of gentrification and urban development.
