Hidahis Mesa is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. Her research focuses on college access for underrepresented students, community college student success, and pipelines into regional comprehensive universities. Currently, Hidahis works with Dr. Adela Soliz and with the Tennessee Post-secondary Evaluation and Analysis Research Lab (TN-PEARL).
Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, Hidahis worked at San Diego State University as an institutional research analyst. Hidahis received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and a master's degree in Urban Education Policy from Brown University.
