David Chambliss serves as the associate dean for development and alumni relations and executive director for strategic initiatives at Peabody College. David has 15 years of experience in higher education advancement. Before joining Vanderbilt University, he served as senior director of development at The Ohio State University and as a major gift officer at Ohio Wesleyan University. He holds a master’s degree in public policy and management from Ohio State, a master’s in higher education administration from Clemson University and a bachelor’s in communications and public relations from Bowling Green State University.
